Kate Brosnahan Spade, an accessories editor at Mademoiselle, was frustrated that she couldn't find the fashionable, utilitarian handbag she had been craving for years, so she set out to design the perfect one out of her apartment. She made samples out of construction paper, combining sleek shapes and colorful palettes in an entirely new way, and debuted six versions of a bag called Sam. Women and fashion editors loved the designs, and they sparked a revolution in accessories.

We thoughtfully integrate our signature mark into all of our designs, creating a delightful surprise for our customers. Sometimes the mark is obvious, and sometimes you have to look closely to find it.

Regarding the product details, the item is imported from China and features a plastic frame. It is RX-able and offers 100% UV protection, with a polarized coating. A branded case is included.
